A publishing house of Charleroi founded at the end of 2012, Les Éditions du Basson is developing three principal editorial lines :
- Novels (detective novels, humourous novels?)
- Comedy and offbeat humour (columns, satire, surrealism, kitchen nightmares, naughty children??
- The ?carolo? identity (the identity of Charleroi) and the country of Charleroi.
Les Éditions du Basson participates in book fairs, library shows, book signings?
It organises an annual short story competition and publishes a selection of them. Les Éditions du Basson also organises Le Festival du Livre de Charleroi (The Book Festival of Charleroi) in the first weekend of May.
In 2015, Les Éditions du Basson created the monthly Belgian sartirical journal ?"Même pas peur"? with Cactus inébranlable Éditions.

Crossing borders, playing away from ethnocentrism, Genèse Édition is a Franco-Belgian publishing house, created in April 2009.
Its publishing policy consists of:
- Novels whose authors belong to several worlds at once. Their imagination, free from parochial codes, is enriched by a variety of rich and modern experiences, as shown in the wonderful novel "La tentation du pont" (The Bridge Temptation) by Véronique.
- Stories with content which appeals to a wide audience, such as the marvel story by Johan Frédérik Hel Guedj, "Chercheurs d'éternité" (Seekers of Eternity), which tells the story of the construction of the first polar station in Antarctica with zero emissions (a story of technical prowess and breathtaking epic human feat).
- Essays which address current issues without technical jargon such as "Secret Finance" by Paul Washer, an essay in which the author is regarding the impunity enjoyed by global financial speculation.

Specifically, we deal with the theoretical vacuum which has surrounded art for years, by testing the discourse through its relationship to the art work which is the base of aesthetic thought. The most important critics, philosophers, artists, academics, writers... contribute every year to the review. Our objectives are to preserve and make known the industrial memory of Brussels and that, more general, of work in all its forms.
La Fonderie is also a publishing house. We publish heritage, scientific and cultural works.
The original approach of the "Cahiers de La Fonderie" is to highlight the man, his work and his daily life.
