This is most often made by the company Cartobel s.a. which works in collaboration with those in charge of the commune, in order to update the face of the commune.
Since September 2009, each published map has been put online. The internet user will be able to easily reach the communal map, see and understand the location of businesses and enterprises which have sponsored it, and also easily understand where the communal administration places are – the churches, the post offices, the schools, etc.

Casterman Editions were created in 1780 and specialise in the comic book and youth publishing sector.
In 1999, Casterman became a branch of the Flammarion group. In September 2012, the Flammarion group was taken over by Madrigall, the mother publishing house of Gallimard and the third largest French publishing house. Casterman Editions today are owned completely by Madrigall.

With a rich collection of almost 13,000 works by contemporary artists, the Centre de la Gravure et de l’Image imprimée primarily has the function of a museum, organising many temporary exhibitions, monographic and themed. Accommodated by the Province de Hainaut, the Centre is developing a series of activities and is offering a number of services in order to fulfil its main objectives: to help authors in the management of their works, including the distribution and promotion of their publications in the theatrical and literary worlds in Belgium and abroad, as well as the aim of promoting the circulation of playwrights in the context of international exchanges.

Amongst its activities, it in particular manages an active Théâtrothèque which groups together more than 900 manuscripts and works edited by authors of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. Since 2009, the Centre has taken care of the management of a writer’s residence situated in the park of Mariemont.

CIPA was founded in 1965. The main aim of CIPA was to study a language as an oral phenomenon, in order to promote teaching languages and multilingualism.

It’s especially since the 70s that CIPA’s area of activities has widened and diversified. Look, for example, at the organisation of several tens of intensive internships (one for several weeks), in Mons or abroad. These concern the teaching of languages, linguistic organisation, long-distance training, peace-keeping education, linguistic preparation for the international field, the welcoming and guidance of African and Asian researchers as well as the elaboration of teaching tools.
