The Maurice Carême Foundation only distributes the works (poetry and prose) of the poet Maurice Carême, an internationally renowned writer, which has been translated around the world and written as music by more than 350 composers and singers (which has made more than 2,780 texts in music). He is - even just by a quarter of his works - one of the greatest poets of childhood. His works are used for the study of French, as a mother tongue and also as a foreign language.

Why Kantoken ?
In Japanese, there are two verbs to say "watch" : "Kan" to look at the inside of things, and "ken" to look at the outside.
Founded in 2013, Kantoken is a publishing house based in Brussels. It is in this European capital, a true melting pot of cultures, that we want to bring together different points of view, strange or foreign, from contemporary literature.
We publish texts by well-known authors valued in their country or field who have never or barely been translated into French. We work with renowned translators and exceptional authors of forewords.

Since the publication of the first journal about the campaign of 1815, regarding the battle around the farm of Hougoumont, readers have eagerly awaited the next book in the series.
