Founded in 2007 to publish translations of Bosnian and Croatian literary works, Éditions M.E.O. quickly saw its activities extend beyond that. With a catalogue of nearly 250 titles, it includes works by writers from various regions of the French-speaking world, as well as translations of works from several linguistic fields. They focus on general literature, but have also developed joint collections with the Archives et Musée de la Littérature (heritage writers from Central Africa) and the Musée de la Médecine de l'ULB (works linked to the museum's exhibitions).
