Born along with the new century, in 2001, and based in Mont-Saint-Guibert in the heart of Walloon Brabant, a new province, Le Coudrier is a breath of fresh air for poets. The woods in which dowsers use their rods is from where their name is derived, and is their emblem.
An artisan publishing house favouring literature which is principally poetic, Le Coudrier publishes, at the cost of the publisher, an average of 10 poetry collections per year.
They are made up of 3 collections : Coudrier (paper-backed books in A5 format, generally illustrated on skecth paper), Sortilèges (bibliophile's collection including deluxe editions and unique books as well as sewn collections in the Italian format), Coudraie (various texts which aren't specifically poetic).
Le Coudrier favours personal writing influenced by imagination, sensibility, musicality, and is the opposite of poetic intellectualisation or research sterile of formalism.

Chat Ailé editions publish all kinds of novels, from classic to adventure, detective, fiction and children literature. In 2014, the idea of creating a publishing house blossomed in Sandra Di Silvio’s head. She already had a foothold in the literary world and had met many Belgian authors that weren’t enough put forward by the country’s editors. That’s when she thought about offering them her support and providing a better visibility, guiding them towards renown in their own style. The publishing house of the CIVA  (Centre International pour la Ville et l'Architecture et le Paysage) specialises in architecture – Belgian and international –in urban and rural settings. It offers – on its own or as part of a co-publication, in one or several languages – beautiful books dedicated to contemporary and emerging architecture but also the great figures of the 20th century, as well as exhibition catalogues. CIVA Editions are also developing several collections, one of which, ‘Ville et architecture’, highlights the architectural heritage of cities such as Riga, Lviv, Krakow, Brussels and its engineering heritage, and more recently, Kinshasa. Traverse asbl (a non-profit organisation, formerly known as the Théâtre Traverse founded in 1993) has widened its activities in literary publishing. We regularly plan training, writing workshops, show productions, video creations… Literary publishing was proving necessary to tie together all these areas. We publish around ten titles per year. Five formats, five collections:
- Carambole : literature in small formats (prose, poetry…).
- Promenades : small format, walker’s literature in a place, city.

Founded in 1930, the Journal des Poètes aims to stand up for and promote contemporary international poetry. This support and illustration is open to all types of poetic writing; moreover, the Journal does not limit itself to presenting new poems (in its chronicle ‘Paroles en archipel’, which means "words in archipelago"), but also highlights ‘Voix nouvelles’ ("new voices"), in which you can find young poets who are still not widely known, and ‘Rencontres’ (various interviews). Diagonale is an independent Belgian publishing house. Founded in 2014 by Ann-Gaëlle Dumont and Pascaline David, it launches new authors and specialises in publishing first novels of all genres.
Aware of the difficulties authors face when trying to break into the publishing world, it offers to return rejected manuscripts in the format of synopses, allowing authors to be guided and encouraged in their writing. Subsequently, they form a trusting relationship with the author, useful for developing a literary career in fictional texts.
It benefits links in the book chain by placing its application forms for manuscripts in its books. It therefore encourages the discovery and sale of first novels in book shops.

Marginales is a Belgian review founded in 1945 by Albert Ayguesparse, a key figure in Belgian literature. Since its beginnings, Marginales has shown itself to be a voice of Belgian literature in the community, the spokesperson of a collective spirit which is the foundation of all literary reviews and particularly this one, which provoked it to open itself up to hugely diverse movements, and give Belgian authors the recognition they were lacking. Marginales had published 229 editions until its closure in 1991. Following a seven year pause, there was a rebirth in 1998 with issue number 230, published regarding Dutroux, whose marked evasion had shocked Belgium and provided the first theme of the newly returned review. Marginales therefore embarked upon its path of regularly publishing 4 issues per year.
