A bold, passionate and demanding editorial approach. Stories that capture, resonate and leave an imprint. French- and Dutch-speaking authors. A publishing house based in Waterloo, Belgium, a magnificent country rich in languages and culture. While we give priority to Belgian authors, our arms are wide open to all French- and Dutch-speaking authors, wherever they live. In 2016 was created the Translation and Interpreting Department of the new Faculty of Letters, Translation and Communication (LTC), named Termisti, at the Université libre de Bruxelles (University of Brussels).
As Termisti was not of sufficient size to form a facultative research centre within the folds of this university, it decided, after a period of reflection beginning in 2016, to found a new centre of research, with a wider range of competences. It now welcomes around thirty researching teachers, teachers and doctoral students from all departments of the Faculty LTC, around three main areas of research:

1. The science of translation and interpreting;


2. The teaching of languages, cultures and literature;


3. The workings of languages, and aids to translation.

This project aims to collect oral testimonies and ancient iconographic documents, any remnant left of life as it was in the entire Ourthe watershed. All the evidences collected are used for the drafting of works that allow to recount every mill history, millers and their families’ ways of life and that attach the same amount of importance to people than to their tools. It is a tribute paid to humble people and it contributes to improve current and future heritage of the involved towns.
