Our publishing house now publishes more than one hundred works per year: war journals, historical accounts, previously unpublished documents, portraits of key figures…
The challenge of the the publishing house is to meld together in our books the accuracy of historical accounts with the pleasure of reading for the wider public.

The association Les Territoires de la Mémoire is an educational centre of Resistance and Citizenship. To carry out memory work with children, young people and adults, it develops various initiatives to relay the past and encourage the involvement of all in the construction of a democratic society which protects fundamental freedoms. Organised into three collections, they favour a comparative approach between analysis of the present and understanding of History(democracy, antiracism, genocide, totalitarianism…):
- « Voix de la Mémoire » : works of an academic dimension regarding themes or aspects linked to History and the memory of tragic facts of the past (Shoah, the Spanish War, the extreme right, populism…).
- « Libres Écrits » : a more direct tone for themes which are often contemporary (the language of the media, antidemocratic shifts…)
- « Points d’encrage » : an illustrated collection which aims to constitute a point of anchorage between the image and the word in subjects such as arbitrary imprisonment, multiculturalism, and exile.

P.I.E. Peter Lang SA, your ?glocal? scientific publisher in Brussels ! The publishing house has been active since 1999, the result of the takeover of the Presses Interuniversitaires Européenes (PIE) by the international group Peter Lang. Our mission : help each specialist in human sciences to materialise and share their research on both a local and global scale. We offer a personalised, efficient and conscientious service to our authors, whilst guaranteeing a specialised global distribution of their work. We principally publish monographs and collections, in the major European languages. The manuscripts we receive are all submitted to a double peer review.Although before we specialized in issues of European integration, we have now expanded our editorial field to all fields of social sciences and humanities. Most of our titles are grouped in collections, discussing diverse topics such as European history, social policy, the environment, drama, etc.. We annually publish fifty titles, mainly monographs, collections of contributions, conference proceedings, essays and bibliographies.

Like all publishers, Éditions Most wants to offer you good books and help you discover new authors.
With its cultural roots in the French-speaking world and Central Asia, its intention is to bring together French-speaking authors in its catalogue, making them accessible to those who speak the language of Molière as well as that of Pushkin. Conversely, Éditions Most wants to make Russian-speaking authors available to French-speaking readers.
So that the bridge can be crossed from one bank to the other, and in both directions.

Since 1987, Academia has been publishing works in the humanities and literature, driven by the ambition to share knowledge and open new horizons. Initially focused on academic publishing, the house has evolved to reach a wider audience with accessible essays, thought-provoking narratives, and a 100% Belgian literature that seeks out unique voices.
Over the years, the catalog has grown with new authors, broadening perspectives and questioning the world we live in. The books we publish aim to transmit knowledge, spark curiosity, and foster reflection.
Academia is also a human-scale publishing house, guided by strong values : quality, commitment, and close ties with its readers. Because reading is about discovering, questioning, and seeing the world differently.
