La Fonderie is a non-profit organization created in 1983 by a group of committed residents and historians. It occupies the site of the former art foundry "La Compagnie des Bronzes". Our objectives are to preserve and make known the industrial memory of Brussels and that, more general, of work in all its forms.
La Fonderie is also a publishing house. We publish heritage, scientific and cultural works.
The original approach of the "Cahiers de La Fonderie" is to highlight the man, his work and his daily life. The articles in this historical review evoke the economic and industrial life of Brussels, the social and industrial heritage but also the history of the inhabitants of Brussels. We question the present and the future of the Brussels Region and its inhabitants from a historical analysis.

Marginales is a Belgian review founded in 1945 by Albert Ayguesparse, a key figure in Belgian literature. Since its beginnings, Marginales has shown itself to be a voice of Belgian literature in the community, the spokesperson of a collective spirit which is the foundation of all literary reviews and particularly this one, which provoked it to open itself up to hugely diverse movements, and give Belgian authors the recognition they were lacking. Marginales had published 229 editions until its closure in 1991. Following a seven year pause, there was a rebirth in 1998 with issue number 230, published regarding Dutroux, whose marked evasion had shocked Belgium and provided the first theme of the newly returned review. Marginales therefore embarked upon its path of regularly publishing 4 issues per year.

Founded in 1949, the Midis de la poésie is an association from Brussels which has, for more than sixty years, promoted literature and poetry, from the past as well as the present. The formula is simple and original: midday every Tuesday, from October to May, a specialist lecturer or writer develops a literary question in the perspective of general culture. To shine a light on their subject, actors read the texts of the tackled authors. Certain meetings offer conferences/shows. To ensure that its heritage continues to exist by (re)discovering past and recent conferences which have left a mark in history, the Midis de la poésie are developing a collection of essays with l’Arbre à paroles.
