A travers ses concepts originaux comme "Mais Papa, pourquoi ?" en jeunesse et sa collection "Par les Ados, pour les Ados", Première Ligne Editions édite à compte d'éditeur les ouvrages de nouveaux auteurs qui ne sont pas écrivains. Edern éditions was born out of a twofold observation, linked to developments in the publishing world: on the one hand, access to a professional publishing house is increasingly difficult; on the other, self-publishing appears to be a miracle solution, when in fact it is an illusion.
We are convinced that there is another way, one that radically breaks with a system that reinforces the monopoly of Parisian publishing and suffocates other publishers. It's a way that revitalises the book industry, which has been woven to highlight the talents of authors, publishers and booksellers, with the aim of offering the widest possible audience an international and diversified range of books.

maelstrÖm means ‘abyss’ or ‘whirlpool’, natural phenomena geographically situated near to the Norwegian cost, just beyond the polar circle. A metaphorical phenomenon situated in the Yin Yang of our spirit, where light only exists through the shadow that it projects and where shadow is the condition of the birth of light. The first symbolic return to ‘A Descent into the Maelström’ by Edgar Allan Poe.
reEvolution refers to dreams, revolution, the dream of evolution, and acts of poetic re-evolution, of course.
Maelström was founded in 1990 as an open group of artists, poets and writers of all genres, across Rome, Brussels and Paris. In 2003, Maelström became a publishing house and participated in the creation of the network RéÉvolution Poétique in 2002. On the 22nd and 23rd April 2008, the disciples of re-evolutionary poetry would never decisively split, Maelström et Maelström Editions died for this double birth: that of maelstrÖm reEvolution!

Founded in 1949, the Midis de la poésie is an association from Brussels which has, for more than sixty years, promoted literature and poetry, from the past as well as the present. The formula is simple and original: midday every Tuesday, from October to May, a specialist lecturer or writer develops a literary question in the perspective of general culture. To shine a light on their subject, actors read the texts of the tackled authors. Certain meetings offer conferences/shows. To ensure that its heritage continues to exist by (re)discovering past and recent conferences which have left a mark in history, the Midis de la poésie are developing a collection of essays with l’Arbre à paroles.

Le Chat polaire, fondé en 2019, est une maison dédiée à la jeune poésie contemporaine francophone, mais aussi à l'édition de textes plus inclassables.
Chaque livre associe à l'auteur un artiste visuel, illustrateur, photographe ou bédéiste.
La maison souhaite également établir des liens avec d'autres formes artistiques, telles que la musique ou la chanson, lors de diverses manifestations.
L'expression "chat polaire" est née de l'invention d'un jeune garçon voulant nommer un simple chat blanc. C'est ainsi que naît parfois la poésie et c'est cette fraîcheur que souhaite conserver l'éditrice.
