The approach to these subjects purports to be clearly different, in the level of the collection as much as the form of it. The works, edited and published by specialists passionate about the subject, are aimed at the wider public. Pastel is the Belgian imprint of l'école des loisirs, created in 1988 in Brussels.
Literary and graphic standards, as well as respect for the child reader, form the foundations of Pastel's editorial line. The varied universes of our authors and illustrators, and the openness to the world they propose are very appreciated all over the world where they are published.
Since the beginning, there has been a strong link between Pastel and the international creation.
