In 2016 was created the Translation and Interpreting Department of the new Faculty of Letters, Translation and Communication (LTC), named Termisti, at the Université libre de Bruxelles (University of Brussels).
As Termisti was not of sufficient size to form a facultative research centre within the folds of this university, it decided, after a period of reflection beginning in 2016, to found a new centre of research, with a wider range of competences. It now welcomes around thirty researching teachers, teachers and doctoral students from all departments of the Faculty LTC, around three main areas of research:
- The science of translation and interpreting;
- The teaching of languages, cultures and literature;
- The workings of languages, and aids to translation.
Termisti will continue along its path as a research group specialised in terminology, likely to bring scientific support to active researchers in the three areas of research at the centre.

Pierre de lune is the Brussels Centre Scénique Jeunes Publics, a Scenic Centre for younger audiences and was founded in 1979. It offers a space of opening and creation where young people of all ages can find artistic and humanistic answers to their need for expression.
By breaking down the barriers of artistic disciplines and genres, Pierre de lune broadens horizons and opens its programme to contemporary dance, circus performances, music as well as the exploration of synergies between the performing and plastic arts.
The opening to children in school-age and the quality of collaboration with school staffs is a major feature of the centre activities. On the one hand, the aim is to initiate young people to live arts by inviting them to the theatre and pushing them to express themselves through workshops and, on the other hand, to offer their teachers a training in the artistic disciplines.

A publishing house founded in 1996, the Editions Amyris are well-known and respected for the contents of their work, and holding the copyrights of all of its titles which are original works.
As the founders of Editions Amyris like to highlight, the heart of the matter is the collection. Rather than aiming to simply publish new work after new work, Amyris takes the opposite stance to this publishing method.
Integrated in different collections, works such as Douce Alternative, Primum Non Nocere, Les Singuliers essentially deal with health, in prevention and alternative medicine.

Since 1985, our theoretical plastic arts review La Part de l'oeil has kept up with the latest research and investigation concerning the essence of the creative process, with the objective being to fill in the outlines while delineating the features of contemporary Aesthetics. Specifically, we deal with the theoretical vacuum which has surrounded art for years, by testing the discourse through its relationship to the art work which is the base of aesthetic thought. The most important critics, philosophers, artists, academics, writers... contribute every year to the review. A section of each issue is dedicated to approaching the major questions of art from a contemporary prospective. We also publish two collections of books :? Théorie? (essays on art) and ?Diptyque? (artists ?monographies). Our review and books are published in French.

Publishing is one of the fundamental aims of the Royal Academy of Belgium. It publishes the works of its members, and of the most celebrated researchers.
The principal publications are the Bulletins, Mémoires and various collections, as well as the Annuaire, which contains administrative facts and figures concerning the Institutions and biographical notes on deceased members. These notes have been digitalised and are accessible.
In addition, on the 25th September 2012, the Academy launched a new collection: ‘L’Académie en poche’ (The Academy in Pocket Version). This collection aims to reflect new, interdisciplinary perspectives, with educational points, halfway between synthesis and reflection and the personal reflection of the author. All in all, it aims to share knowledge and tackle subjects which are likely to feed debates in society, in all areas. Two volumes are planned for each month.
