The MADmusée (which stands for the Musée d'Art Différencié) is a museum of Art Brut Contemporain (Contemporary Brut Art) situated in Liège (B). Its mission is the conservation and promotion of works produced by mentally handicapped artists, in the context of a workshop and possessing an INTERNATIONAL COLLECTION composed of 2,500 works. In addition to conservation, study of its collection and the planning of TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS, the MADmusée is developing two other fields of specific activities: an EDUCATIONAL SERVICE which involves cultural mediation which brings together awareness-raising theories and practises, and a CENTRE OF DOCUMENTATION, regarding the works of Brut Art and its ramifications. The centre is additionally composed of a specific, complete centre dedicated to non-conventional architectural projects.

Le Taillis Pré Editions, founded in 1984 by the poet Yves Namur, immediately revealed an editorial focus on authors from across the entire world. Due to this focus, you can find poets such as Roberto Juarroz, Antonio Ramos Rosa, Salah Stétié, Israël Eliraz, Nuno Judice and E. E. Cummings, to name but a few. Around a dozen titles appear in this way every year, among which are also some of the best poets of Belgium: Gaspard Hons, Jacques Izoard, Fernand Verhesen, Michel Lambiotte, André Miguel, Eric Brogniet, Liliane Wouters, Philippe Jones, etc. The ‘Ha’ collection presents a panorama of Belgian poetry, whose works are significant but little known or even undiscovered. In this collection, you will find the names of Françoise Delcarte, Ernest Delève, Frans Moreau, Pierre Della Faille, Jean Dypréau and Robert Guiette. Tandem is a double adventure, through the worlds of edition and engraving, and is the result of the tireless work of an association. Tandem was founded in 1974 and since them never stopped editing, distributing and exhibiting books and prints. Its catalogue praises some well-known names of current creation: Bogdan Borcic, Pierre Caille, Antonio Segui, Jo Delahaut, Lismonde, Cees Andriessen, etc.
Tandem gives to a hundred of young people the opportunity to participate to the collection “History in images” and allows artists of all disciplines to express their concepts as well as their way of working and of living their art through the 100 works of the collection “Conversation with…”. The Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) is the first trans-European research network in the field of European affairs. It consists of leading research institutes in the field of European affairs across Europe, with an office in Brussels. TEPSA’s aim is to provide high quality research on European integration based on a ‘Triple A’ approach: Analysis, Assessment and Advice in order to stimulate discussion on policies and political options for Europe. The network was established in 1974 as an international non-profit association under Belgian law. Ever since 1974 it has steadily increased its membership in response to the constant growth of the European Union. Today TEPSA consists of 43 member institutes and associate members located in 36 European countries. TEPSA and its member institutes have engaged in a two-fold approach, providing expertise on EU policies and politics combined with a vast experience in organising and conducting EU-wide research, training and networks.

In 2016 was created the Translation and Interpreting Department of the new Faculty of Letters, Translation and Communication (LTC), named Termisti, at the Université libre de Bruxelles (University of Brussels).
As Termisti was not of sufficient size to form a facultative research centre within the folds of this university, it decided, after a period of reflection beginning in 2016, to found a new centre of research, with a wider range of competences. It now welcomes around thirty researching teachers, teachers and doctoral students from all departments of the Faculty LTC, around three main areas of research:

1. The science of translation and interpreting;


2. The teaching of languages, cultures and literature;


3. The workings of languages, and aids to translation.

The association Les Territoires de la Mémoire is an educational centre of Resistance and Citizenship. To carry out memory work with children, young people and adults, it develops various initiatives to relay the past and encourage the involvement of all in the construction of a democratic society which protects fundamental freedoms. Organised into three collections, they favour a comparative approach between analysis of the present and understanding of History(democracy, antiracism, genocide, totalitarianism…):

• « Voix de la Mémoire » : works of an academic dimension regarding themes or aspects linked to History and the memory of tragic facts of the past (Shoah, the Spanish War, the extreme right, populism…).


• « Libres Écrits » : a more direct tone for themes which are often contemporary (the language of the media, antidemocratic shifts…)


• « Points d’encrage » : an illustrated collection which aims to constitute a point of anchorage between the image and the word in subjects such as arbitrary imprisonment, multiculturalism, and exile.

Tétras Lyre Editions was founded in 1988 by Marc Imberechts. During their twenty years of publishing poetry, the publishing house has developed a catalogue of over one hundred titles, combining the explorations of visual arts with the quality of poetic texts and the demands of artisan publishing. In 2010, Marc Imberechts entrusted the direction to Maxime Coton, and this change led to a transfer of the house’s headquarters to Brussels. Under Maxime Coton, Tétras Lyre underwent a reorientation in their communication and editorial line, achieved their first contract programme with the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, and began a new collection. Today, after four years devoted to the publishing house, and wanting to dedicate herself to a personal poetry project, Maxime Coton transferred the leading of the publishing house to Primaëlle Vertenoeil.

Traverse asbl (a non-profit organisation, formerly known as the Théâtre Traverse founded in 1993) has widened its activities in literary publishing. We regularly plan training, writing workshops, show productions, video creations… Literary publishing was proving necessary to tie together all these areas. We publish around ten titles per year. Five formats, five collections:
- Carambole : literature in small formats (prose, poetry…).
- Promenades : small format, walker’s literature in a place, city.
- Mémoires d'’aujourd’hui : biographical accounts, studies
