Items from all abroad the globe are thus represented : works of art of european et non-european cultures, naturalia, archeological artefacts and scientific tools. All of these objects interact with each other to highlight what are the human's motivations to invent and create.
Its publications, mainly beautiful books with scientific qualities, are adressed to the specialists, students, researcher, but also to the general public : exhibition catalog, art book about a collection, monography about a work of art or even study of special private collection.

The mission of the MCAA?s Book Publishing activity is to make available books and
other publications related to topics relevant to researchers and their careers, as well
as the societal impact of science and research, in print and digital formats. In addition,
the MCAA wants to provide its members with the resources and support for taking
their work to the public.
With its publishing activity, the MCAA aims to respond to four objectives that are
aligned with the Association?s overall communication goals, serving both the MCAA
community and its external audiences (the target audiences of the publishing activity
are listed in more detail in section 3).
The objectives of the publishing activity are:
1. To promote the contributions of the MCAA and its members to research,
innovation, and society.
2. To offer the MCAA members resources and support for publishing their work in
book format.
3. To support the development of researchers? careers and professional skills.
4. To communicate science and research to audiences in and outside the MCAA
community
