Born along with the new century, in 2001, and based in Mont-Saint-Guibert in the heart of Walloon Brabant, a new province, Le Coudrier is a breath of fresh air for poets. The woods in which dowsers use their rods is from where their name is derived, and is their emblem.
An artisan publishing house favouring literature which is principally poetic, Le Coudrier publishes, at the cost of the publisher, an average of 10 poetry collections per year.
They are made up of 3 collections : Coudrier (paper-backed books in A5 format, generally illustrated on skecth paper), Sortilèges (bibliophile's collection including deluxe editions and unique books as well as sewn collections in the Italian format), Coudraie (various texts which aren't specifically poetic).
Le Coudrier favours personal writing influenced by imagination, sensibility, musicality, and is the opposite of poetic intellectualisation or research sterile of formalism.

Since the publication of the first journal about the campaign of 1815, regarding the battle around the farm of Hougoumont, readers have eagerly awaited the next book in the series. Those interested in the battles were delighted to find a new approach in our publications, questioning the normal clichés and putting the facts into perspective.
To the journals regarding the 1815 campaign we have added :
• A series of illustrations regarding the uniforms of the soldiers of the Belle Alliance.

Edern éditions was born out of a twofold observation, linked to developments in the publishing world: on the one hand, access to a professional publishing house is increasingly difficult; on the other, self-publishing appears to be a miracle solution, when in fact it is an illusion.
We are convinced that there is another way, one that radically breaks with a system that reinforces the monopoly of Parisian publishing and suffocates other publishers. It's a way that revitalises the book industry, which has been woven to highlight the talents of authors, publishers and booksellers, with the aim of offering the widest possible audience an international and diversified range of books.

Héritiers d'une longue tradition d'éditeurs imprimeurs à Tournai et, plus largement, en Wallonie, l'ASBL Éditions Wapica ambitionne d'entretenir la mémoire des bâtisseurs de notre région par l'histoire et le patrimoine qu'ils nous ont transmis.
Depuis sa fondation en juin 2011, la maison d'édition a déjà réalisé une quarantaine de publications, principalement des beaux livres d'art. Wapica est ainsi devenue un label de qualité éditoriale au service des auteurs, des projets et même des institutions officielles.
Les livres Wapica sont réalisés par des auteurs régionaux, (historiens, historiens de l'art, professeurs d'université, conservateurs de musée, passionnés, etc.), des auteurs belges et par des spécialistes de niveau international. Les livres Wapica constituent de véritables cartes de visite et de promotion de notre région.
