Maedia sprl embodies a pubishing activity dedicated primarily to the different kinds of urban arts. Since 2012, Maedia's goal is to share with the public the approach and motivation of artists from alternative or underground disciplines that are still too often misunderstood, such as graffiti, skateboard, hip-hop and electro. Nocturnal performances, perceptible nuisances, hijacked locations, proximity to drugs and alcohol are all factors that prevent a fair mutual understanding between urban artists and those who live and manage the city. Through a game of interviews, essays and graphic or sound illustrations, Maedia seeks to contribute to the construction of a necessary and urgent citizen dialogue, while giving the opportunity to artists deemed not very prolix to speak. and to share their passions and their emotions.

The Employé du Moi is a Brussels-based comic book publishing house founded around 2000 by a few cartoonists. Its book production evolves around and according to desires, experiences, vibes, and encounters; and its editorial line follows what is commonly known as independent comics. The genres it publishes range from intimate stories to adventure fictions, suspense thrillers and sometimes even erotic tales. Employé du Moi devotes a special attention to the stories’ depth and their narrative quality. Founded in 1971, the ISELP– an institution for the study of visual arts – is a place where contemporary art is approached from different angles which are mutually enriching. This plurality makes a singularity: our activities of demonstration, reflection, research, mediation and publishing all make up the richness of art today.

The ISELP benefits critical discourse concerning contemporary art by offering conferences, projections, discussions, meetings, readings, guided visits, cultural voyages and educational activities. Particular attention is given to the question of art in the public space, by the development of a think tank which leads reflection on the subject, encouraging meetings and offering the public a centre of reference.

Finally, the institute welcomes the main public documentation center of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles for visual arts in the 20^th and 21^st centuries.

Tétras Lyre Editions was founded in 1988 by Marc Imberechts. During their twenty years of publishing poetry, the publishing house has developed a catalogue of over one hundred titles, combining the explorations of visual arts with the quality of poetic texts and the demands of artisan publishing. In 2010, Marc Imberechts entrusted the direction to Maxime Coton, and this change led to a transfer of the house’s headquarters to Brussels. Under Maxime Coton, Tétras Lyre underwent a reorientation in their communication and editorial line, achieved their first contract programme with the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, and began a new collection. Today, after four years devoted to the publishing house, and wanting to dedicate herself to a personal poetry project, Maxime Coton transferred the leading of the publishing house to Primaëlle Vertenoeil.
