Le Taillis Pré Editions, founded in 1984 by the poet Yves Namur, immediately revealed an editorial focus on authors from across the entire world. Due to this focus, you can find poets such as Roberto Juarroz, Antonio Ramos Rosa, Salah Stétié, Israël Eliraz, Nuno Judice and E. E. Cummings, to name but a few. Around a dozen titles appear in this way every year, among which are also some of the best poets of Belgium: Gaspard Hons, Jacques Izoard, Fernand Verhesen, Michel Lambiotte, André Miguel, Eric Brogniet, Liliane Wouters, Philippe Jones, etc. The ‘Ha’ collection presents a panorama of Belgian poetry, whose works are significant but little known or even undiscovered. In this collection, you will find the names of Françoise Delcarte, Ernest Delève, Frans Moreau, Pierre Della Faille, Jean Dypréau and Robert Guiette. This collection generally publishes the complete works of the poet in question. Courgette Editions grew from an unconventional seed !
Since 2021, Courgette Editions has been cultivating printed, digital, and audio works that transcend traditional literary norms. It offers intimate perspectives that become political, and introduces alternative viewpoints that challenge established conventions. The press provides space for unconventional imaginations and lived experiences, as well as themes that disrupt stereotypes and societal frameworks?through literature, poetry, art books, and educational tools.
The formats are multiple, but the commitments are constant. Each publication is conceived as an ethical editorial act: local printing, paper from sustainably managed forests, non-toxic inks. Every link in the production chain is fairly compensated. Overproduction of both works and prints is deliberately avoided with a strong emphasis on creating meaning.
In 2025, Courgette Editions signed the charter for the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence, an initiative led by the Belgian Francophone Book Interprofessional Association (PILEn). Publishing differently also means thinking differently.
Courgette Editions welcomes co-publishing, translation, and partnership opportunities with publishing houses that share its values of sustainability, inclusivity, and engaged creativity. Its authors are eager to see their work resonate across borders?on human, political, and poetic levels.

Founded in 1984 by the Belgian dancer and choreographer Patricia Kuypers, Contredanse has aimed, from its beginning, to support creations of choreography. It wants to offer tools and resources to choreographers and dancers, to allow them to link their work in the studio to an analysis of thoughts regarding movement, the body, the composition, history and their discipline.
Its activities are principally orientated towards information and documentation, in publishing as well as training. Contresdanse is also developing partners by associating itself with projects such as round tables, conferences, workshops of reflection relating to dance…
Its publishing activity is double: on one half, the annual production of a publication (a book, CD or DVD) on a theme linked to dance or the work of an artist; on the other half a quarterly journal of news, specifically news regarding dance, distributed freely.
