Kikie Crêvecoeur and I met around a boxing ring. Kikie was one of the judges of the World Championships kick boxing event and I was the presenter in a sequined dinner jacket. It was May 26, 1985, at the Halles de Schaerbeek. A long time ago. Between two fights Kikie, on her match sheets, was scribbling, drawing what she saw in the ring. Jean Marchetti (La Pierre d'Alun) allowed us to meet around a paper ring, a rare commodity today. Kikie illustrates with her red and black vignettes, engravings and linos "Pains perdus" a story of moments of boxing, a magnificent and fascinating sport.
