Julia sets off with her husband Ben for a high-altitude trek in Ladakh.
A day into the trek, an argument breaks out. Ben leaves, abandoning her in a group of unknown men. Despite the extreme conditions, Julia continues the expedition, driven by a single goal: to reach Lake Tso Moriri. But her determination is not enough. Assailed by visions that won't let her go, Julia falls. A vertiginous fall that plunges her into the jaws of the mountain. Alone in the dark, broken all over, but alive, Julia resists.
In a spiral of memories, mingling loss and family terrors, she revisits her fall as rescue efforts are organized.
