Description :
One evening at a provincial airport, probably in the USA. Difficult weather conditions grounded the last planes. Most of the passengers have left. In a small space off the main concourse, a woman tries to make herself as comfortable as possible to spend the night. A man in a rumpled suit moves into the same space. He wants to talk. She just wants to be left alone. This promiscuity weighs on her, especially as the man is rather... intrusive. Gradually, however, the verbal jousting of the beginning gives way to an ambiguous relationship, with each of them more or less willingly revealing their bruised hearts and lack of love. And the apparent marivaudage gradually takes on the appearance of a game of truth, not always to the advantage of the two personalities involved. This is a play that looks like a comedy but that quickly takes a detour. Born in Brussels in 1971, Philippe Beheydt is a playwright, director, photographer, scriptwriter and film-maker.
