Description :
Letter from Amélie Nothomb for the 50th-anniversary catalogue
I have forty-seven publishers on this planet alone. Of all these publishers, Jean Marchetti is the last one I can describe as an old-school publisher. Coming from me, that's a compliment. It fits perfectly: I'm an old-school writer. Is that a compliment? I'm not sure. But what I am certain of is that my relationship with Jean Marchetti is old-school : a 100 per cent analogue delight which has lasted for thirty years, and will last for ever.
