The “Fugueurs du livre” take over Liège
The thirteenth edition of Les Fugueurs du livre will take place on 7 and 8 November in Liège, at the B3 (library, media library and cultural business incubator). This fair dedicated to alternative small publishers will bring together sixty-five Belgian and French exhibitors who excel in the fields of literature and visual arts, as well as around forty other publishing houses represented by the network Les éditeurs singuliers. Small-press magazines, illustrated books, micro-publishing and artists’ books are particularly highlighted at this fair.
A programme of workshops and round-table discussions accompanies the event. Among the topics covered this year are: illustration, photography, literature, publishing and memory; the relationship between text and image; and thoughts on photography. The journals Boustro and Flemish Review de la poëzie have joined forces to publish a bilingual anthology of contemporary authors, which will form the basis for a bilingual poetry stage reading.
