"L'autre livre" is moving...
From 21 to 23 November, the L’Autre Livre autumn bookfair celebrates independent publishing in Paris, with the participation of 150 publishing houses and the presence of a hundred of authors. A programme of meetings, readings, debates and conferences accompanies the fair. This year, the event will be held in the Latin Quarter, opposite the Panthéon, not far from its newly renovated bookshop located on Rue de l’École-Polytechnique.The L’Autre Livre association organises two fairs a year, in spring and autumn, in order, according to the organisers, to offer “the public an opportunity to meet directly those who bring literature to life off the beaten track, and to discover free, curious and innovative publishing”.
Belgian publishing has been present at this fair for some fifteen years. This year, Le Coudrier, Le Chat polaire (poetry) and F Deville (fiction, non fiction, children’s books) will welcome you to their stand. The small-press network Les éditeurs singuliers will present recent publications from some forty publishing houses active in all fields: literature, essays, art, children’s books and graphic novels.
