French-language Belgian poetry on display in Sète
The Belgian French-language edition will attend the Voix vives de Méditerranée en Méditerranée festival (Sète), from 17 to 25 July.
Voix vives is the largest regional poetry festival in France. The well-attended event features a publishers’ market and a major festival bringing together a host of poets, actors and storytellers for a rich programme of readings on stage and in various venues around the city.
Five Belgian publishing houses will be present at the market: Abrapalabra, Le Chat polaire, CotCotCot, Courgette and maelstrÖm reEvolution, while the small-press network Les éditeurs singuliers will be representing around thirty others.
Many Belgian poets will attend the festival: Catherine Barsics, Daniel De Bruycker, Aurélien Dony, Laurence Vielle and Zéphyr.
