Brussels Book Fair: Europe and love!

With Belgium holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and crucial European elections just weeks away, the European Union and its literature are the focus of this year's Brussels Book Fair, under the unifying slogan "The European Union is you, it's me, it's us".

In these troubled times, the Brussels Book Fair is dedicating its 2024 edition to our loves, all those links that give meaning to our lives, and that books make possible and magnify.

The Brussels Book Fair will be hosting the "Lire et faire lire" trade day, focusing on children's literature and young people. The theme of the day will be "Animating reading". Activities are becoming increasingly important in libraries, and teachers are looking for tips and tricks on how to bring books and reading to life in their classrooms. How are publishers positioning themselves, pedagogically and artistically, on this subject? And what about digital technology? Expertise, ideas and thoughts will be shared throughout the meetings.
