Belgian poetry publishing in Paris
Belgian poetry publishing, which is particularly dynamic, is out in force every year at the Marché de la poésie in Paris, the major annual event for French-language poetry, with several hundred publishing houses present from France, Belgium, Quebec, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Thousands of books and hundreds of authors will be on hand for meetings, stage readings and book signings. The book fair provides also publishers with an important opportunity for informal professional exchanges.
The 42nd Marché de la poésie will be taking place on the Place Saint-Sulpice, near Saint-Germain-des-Prés, from 18 to 22 June.
More than thirty publishing houses will be present on the Belgique Wallonie Bruxelles stand: ARLLFB, Bashibouzouk, Bleu dans vert, Bleu d’encre, Le Boustrographe, Bozon2x, Cactus inébranlable, Éditions du CEP, CFC-Éditions, Le Cormier, CotCotCot, Le Coudrier, Courgette, Couleur livres, Daily-Bul, Éléments de langage, Espace Nord, Les Impressions Nouvelles, Lamiroy, La Lettre volée, L’L éditions, Lustre, M.E.O., Les Oiseaux de nuit, Partis pour, La Pierre d’Alun, La Place éditions 632, Tandem, Les Territoires de la mémoire, Tétras Lyre, Traverse and les éditions du Vide.
Seven publishing houses will be welcoming visitors to their own stands: Abrapalabra (209/516), L’Arbre de Diane (513), Le Chat polaire (600), Esperluète (505), maesltrÖm reEvolution (209/516), Les Midis de la poésie (513) and Le Taillis Pré (212).
