40th anniversary of the Geneva Book Fair
The Geneva Book Fair celebrates its 40th edition this year, from 18 to 22 March. Every spring, it brings together readers, authors, publishers and booksellers for five days. A convivial and exciting event, the book fair is committed to bringing together different generations and cultures around the theme of reading.
Under the emblematic slogan ‘Lisez-vous le belge ?’ (Do you read Belgian?), around twenty French-speaking Belgian publishing houses will be represented: Alice Jeunesse, Anspach, Empaj, Espace Nord, F Deville, Fremok, La part de l'œil, Lansman, Le Lion Z'ailé, Les Impressions nouvelles, Livr'S, M.E.O., Maison CFC, Marmottons, Mijade, Racine, Ayo éditions, NordSud, Les éditeurs singuliers.
Meetings and book signings will also be offered to visitors. Belgian authors invited include Malédicte, Philippe Xavier, Baudoin Deville, Caroline Lamarche, Violaine Lison, Nadine Monfils, Stefan Platteau, Ralph Vendôme, Pierre Montbrand, Cindy Vandermeulen, and others.
