An ONLIT book nominated for Horizon prize
The 2021 selection for second novels has been announced by the jury of Prix Horizon
The five competing novels will be submitted to reading committees, composed of people from Marche or from any other place in Belgium or in a French-speaking country. The winner will be chosen by universal suffrage and secret ballot by the readers of the committees during a plenary meeting. This will happen in Marche-en-Famenne during the Festival in the presence of the authors.
Marcel Sel’s new novel “Elise” is among the finalists. An interesting novel to discover…
“The author’s vision of the world is powerful and original and deploys nuances and empathy at all tenses. It analyses the difficulty of living together and questions human nature while remaining free from binary and clannist patterns.” Philippe Remy-Wilkin – Le Carnet et les Instants.
